Chris qualified as a chiropractor in 1996. From the outset he was fascinated by the influence of the mind on the body.
These initial observations led him to explore meditation and as his interest grew he wanted to understand more about the brain.
From this beginning he went on to gain a psychology degree, as well as post graduate qualifications in the provision of mindfulness based approaches.
Chris has been teaching these techniques across a broad spectrum of the population from school children and teachers, within corporations and organisations, and within wellness and recovery teams in hospitals and to sports men and women for the past 12 years.
Chris's personal interest and practice came to be personally beneficial when he was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2016. The proverbial parachute he had been weaving over the past 20 years certainly supported him and made both the treatment and the journey a little less tortuous.
Chris is passionate about finding bespoke and unique ways to engage a wider audience in techniques that may be of benefit in our professional lives but may well be supportive and helpful elsewhere when things become challenging.
